Jennifer Jessen EdD, MSN, RN started her nursing career in 2004 as a graduate of the Creighton University Nursing Program. Her clinical background includes Post Intensive Nursing Care, Cardiac Intensive Nursing Care, Post Anesthesia and Perioperative Care, and over ten years in Intraoperative Nursing. She currently holds a Masters in Nursing Education and Doctorate in Education with an emphasis in Healthcare Education and has been teaching in higher education since 2011. She is currently employed at Creighton University College of Nursing as an Assistant Professor, serving as the Accelerated Program Track Leader. Her interests include research and scholarship in perioperative nursing education with projects that integrate simulation and interprofessional collaboration in current teaching practices.
